David Melvin CoachingBusiness coaching for contractors

About

A contractor first. A coach second.

I've run Colorado Roofing and Remodeling in the Denver area since 2011. I coach other trades owners because I learned the business side the hard way, and most of it didn't need to be that hard.

How I run my company

I run my company on a few rules most contractors think are impossible. Every customer gets an exact written price before any work starts. We don't take a deposit, and no money changes hands until the job is done and the customer is satisfied.

That isn't generosity. It works because I know my numbers: what every job costs, what it has to sell for and how the cash moves. That's what I teach.

A lot of it is written down in the Playbook, free to read. A good place to start is why I don't take deposits.
