Coaching

One-on-one coaching for trades owners who are done guessing.

You work directly with me. No junior coaches, no call center and no canned 90-day program. We work on your business, with your numbers, in the order that puts money in your pocket soonest.

What we work on

The four areas that decide what you take home

01

Numbers: Know what every job actually made.

Job costing, margins and cash flow you can read in ten minutes a week. Most owners find out a job lost money months later. You'll know within days of finishing it.

02

Pricing: Charge what the work is worth.

Prices built from your real costs and overhead, not from what the company down the street charges. No more discounting to win jobs you didn't want anyway.

03

Sales: Close more jobs without the pressure.

A simple, honest process for estimates and follow-up. Homeowners hire the contractor who's clear about the price and shows up when promised.

04

Crew: Build a team that runs without you.

Hiring, written standards and accountability, so the work gets done right when you're not standing on the job site.

The process

From the first call to a business that runs

1

Free call

We talk through where the business is, where it's stuck and what you want it to look like. If coaching isn't the right move, I'll say so.

2

Look at the numbers

Before any advice, we look at what your jobs actually made, what they cost and where the cash goes. The problems are usually obvious once they're on paper.

3

Action plan

One or two priorities at a time, with clear steps and deadlines. Small enough to actually get done while you're still running jobs.

4

Regular check-ins

We meet on a set schedule, usually every week or two, by phone or video. You bring what happened, we fix what didn't work, and I hold you to what you said you'd do.

5

On to the next one

Once a fix sticks, we move to the next problem. Numbers first, then pricing, sales and crew.

6

A business that runs

The goal is a company that makes money predictably and doesn't need you on every job site to do it.

Good fit

  • Residential trades owner with steady work coming in
  • Running at least one crew, or about to hire one
  • Willing to open the books and look at real numbers
  • Ready to change how you price, sell or run jobs

Not a fit

  • Looking for a lead service or an ad agency
  • Wants a quick fix without changing anything
  • Not willing to share your numbers with a coach
  • Wants someone else to run the business for you

Pricing is covered on the call.

Every business is at a different stage. We'll talk about cost once we both know whether coaching makes sense for you.
